Forum Policy


“Health Laws and Places” forum deals on vital concerns affecting the delivery of public health services in the Philippines.  It delves on different health laws and how the local governments units and other sectors and institutions, public or private,  are responding to them.

 Specifically, the forum looks into the implementation of Republic Act 7305, salary standardization law affecting health workers and health regulatory laws implemented by the Department of Health (DOH) and Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

 "Healthy Places” and "PPHA Corner" are added to look into the impact of implementation of DOH and FDA health programs and projects and activities of the Philippine Public Health Association in its capacity as a non-government organization, respectively.

 Health workers, health officials and other stakeholders, including non-Filipinos, are invited to share their sentiments on the present  set-up by posting their comments or contributing articles relative to the above topics.

Let us see from the standpoint of one of the COVID-19 sufferers, who  testified that the virus causes irritation of the throat, causes dry cough and thereafter causing fever, as substantial full manifestation of the disease.
